The online
career mentoring site for young adults
You have the task of choosing a career or a career pathway
on which to focus your high school studies.
You will do this by compiling a career exploration portfolio. The
portfolio will contain the following.
the results of career interest inventories
a list of ten possible careers suitable to your likes, dislikes,
and personality
research on three of the possible careers
a list of career-related high school courses
Upon on completion of the portfolio, you will write a letter
to the counselor and/or advisor summarizing the results of your
career exploration. The letter will explain what career
focus you have chosen, why you chose it, and how you plan to
prepare for it.

County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Department on Aging
