Since 1971, RSVP (the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) has enabled Americans 55 years and older to continue making significant contributions to their community.

Our program links the talents and skills of retired persons with over 80 non-profit and community based organizations that serve all ages.

The volunteer chooses the organization and capacity in which they volunteer. Hours are arranged according to the individual's schedule and preferences and there are even limited opportunities to serve without leaving your home.

Volunteering is a way to:

  1. Share your time, talent and support to those in need.
  2. Stay active and involved.
  3. Make new and lasting friendships.
  4. Support worthwhile organizations.
  5. Personal satisfaction.
  6. Stand up and be counted.
  7. Personal growth.
  8. Structure to balance your leisure time.
